Festival de Cap Roig

The Cap Roig Festival will be celebrating its 19th edition, having established itself as the Costa Brava’s most important musical event of the year and Southern Europe’s leading summer festival thanks to the quality of its line-up. An event that every summer brings together the best artists from the national and international music scene in Calella de Palafrugell (Girona), in a spectacular setting by the sea, located in the municipal districts of Palafrugell and Mont-ras in the county of Baix Empordà.

The natural setting spread over 20 hectares made up of the Cap Roig Castle and the Botanical Gardens, considered one of the most important in the Mediterranean, is the ideal location for enjoying a summer night of music. A unique and unforgettable experience whose common denominator is an eclectic and balanced line-up featuring the most famous artists of each musical genre.

In previous editions, more than 55,000 spectators were able to enjoy performances by Elton John, Tony Bennett, Lady Gaga, Rod Stewart, The Corrs, Sting, Mark Knopfler, Julieta Venegas, Barbara Hendricks, Ainhoa Arteta, Alejandro Sanz, Rosario, Malú, Antonio Orozco, Pablo Alborán, Sergio Dalma, Luz Casal, Sopa de Cabra and Gossos, among others.

Each year, the Cap Roig festival continues to promote its model of a prestigious summer festival, with a high quality programme and with a clear commitment to sustainability in all aspects: environmental, sociocultural and economic.
