The ”la Caixa” Foundation grants 50 fellowships to undertake Bachelor studies or Higher Artistic studies in public universities or public higher education centres in Spain.

 

Since we are convinced of the importance of education, social mobility and professional qualification for the creation of a fairer and more equal society and with the objective of promoting equal opportunities, the ”la Caixa” Foundation offers a comprehensive fellowship programme that supports fellows throughout the whole stage in their university careers. In addition to the economic allowance, it also includes language courses, additional support for international stays and a mentoring and training programme in transferable skills to provide students everything they need to achieve academic excellence.

  • HIGHLIGHTS OF
    THE CALL

    • 50 fellowships for low-income students with outstanding academic results who want to start a bachelor’s degree for the first time in the 2022-2023 academic year.

    • Bachelor’s studies or Higher Artistic studies in public universities or public higher education centres in Spain.

    • On-campus, full-time and full-dedication studies.

    • Open to all disciplines.

  • CALL REQUIREMENTS

    In order to be eligible, candidates must meet the following three requirements:

    1. Students who are beneficiaries of the fixed allowance for income, threshold 1 of family income, of the general scholarship of the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training or of the Basque Government in the call 2021-2022 will be eligible to apply for the scholarship.

    2. Students must have passed the last course of the Spanish Baccalaureate/Upper Secondary Education (Bachillerato) or Higher-level of Vocational Training (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior) in the 2021-2022 academic year.

    3. Applicants who have completed their baccalaureate studies must pass the university entrance exams in the 2022 first sitting.

    Notification of the shortlist results and arrangement of interviews.
